Here are some updates to the performance list this summer. Though I’m focusing on launching a new coaching practice (ask me for details!), there’s still lots of fun to be had!
NOTE that there is no Dynasty Night in July after all – we moved it to August since the club double-booked itself. Smooth!

Lisa Geduldig started doing comedy 21 years ago at El Rio in SF’s Mission District. In celebration of that anniversary, Kung Pao Presents…Comedy Returns to El Rio! Every 2nd Monday of the month @ El Rio.

August 22nd: “DYNASTY: Night of 1,000 Cliffhangers” hosted by RAY FERRER
Hold onto your shoulder pads and toss your champagne glass at the telly… it’s time for Dynasty: Night of 1,000 Cliffhangers! Comedian Ray Ferrer hosts back-to-back episodes of Dynasty, the epitome of 80s camp and glitz, amidst the splendor of Oakland’s own beaux arts mansion. Sip cocktails and enjoy dinner in the Bellevue Club — Lake Merritt’s version of the Carrington mansion — while Ray Ferrer doles out prizes for the best Carrington and Colby looks! This is our BIG FINALE – come on out and wave farewell to the Carringtons!
A no-host bar (credit cards only, no cash) will help the merriment along. (If you’d like to enjoy the fabulous pre-show dinner, be sure to make a 6pm reservation.)
